PRESSED BOTANICALS
PRESSED BOTANICALS

Sara Edi goes into her garden and in the landscape and collects flowers,
grasses, vines, rushes and tropicals to bring in.  She then prepares them
for pressing between acid free sheets.  They are set aside to dry for six
to eight weeks.  Once the plants are ready, Sara Edi mounts them on
acid free linen boards.  Then, she makes the shadow box frames from
1" black moulding.  They have a 1/2" reveal.  Finally hanging wires are
attached to the back.

Each Pressed Botanical is named with the Botanical Name and
Common Names in sepia.  They are also dated for the month and year
they were collected.

BOTANICAL PRINTS

The photographs from the Pressed Botanicals are offered as prints.
They are printed on heavy cardstock presentation boards.
